Harlan Veal Scholarship Award

This $1500.00 scholarship may be awarded to a graduating high school senior, who demonstrates leadership and a strong commitment to community service, plans to continue his/her formal education, lives in San Carlos and emulates Kiwanis values and characteristics as the late Henry Nissen demonstrated.

This $1500.00 scholarship may be awarded to a graduating high school senior, in memory of Harlan Veal, a Kiwanian of 50 years, who celebrated the strengths of the individual and served in the Administration of Justice and Legal arenas in San Mateo County.    Eligible candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to Kiwanis values and community service,  a predisposition to pursuing a career in social justice and must live in the City of San Carlos

  Outstanding Achievement Scholarship Award

  Kiwanis Arts Scholarship Award

Four (4) $1500.00 scholarships may be awarded to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement through their leadership and high academic standards
(minimum 3.4 grade point average) with plans to continue their formal education.
             Applicants must live in San Carlos.

This $1500.00 scholarship may be awarded to a graduating high school senior, who demonstrates aptitude in the arts, a predisposition to pursuing a career in the arts, a commitment to community service, and lives in San Carlos.
