Pot was at $534 when Herb P. picked a $5 card.  Judy Litteer Realtor sold Gerry C's house and always contributes a portion of certain sales to Kiwanis Int'l, two checks for over $2400 with more than $2472 going to the Int'l fund.  David Boesch -Assistant County Manager for San Mateo County - talked about the state of county finances, direction the county is going and various county projects.  One point made was that the county is basically not a taxing agency but a collector of and  recipient of the taxes set by other Government agencies, so the budget is set against expected revenues since it cannot issue a tax to cover be certain need.  He gave out a 15 page glossy brochure describing the county.  To see for yourself what the county is up to   Click here .   Til we wade again   Ron D
