		17 at lunch today with the speaker. Pot is about $450 but Rosalie Becker ( remenber !!) did take $4 and Randy got the attendance award.  Cherlene L. Wright -Deputy Probation Officer of the county of San Mateo talked of the troubled kids she has experienced, and how it was not easy to predict which kids would soon be in trouble. Neighborhood and ethnicity were not alone the cause, and parenting was very important. She did point out that parent awareness  plays a big role and how an easy assumption of kids taking care of themselves while the parent is working or otherwise occupied can lead to undesirable results.
