14 at lunch today including the speaker. Pot is about $340 and Bill Becker picked an Ace (say have heard this one before ) and Per got the attendance award. Thomas C. Mohr - Interim President Canada College spoke about the advantages of being a student at that college level, one does get some preferential treatment when applying to the four year level. He enlightened all of us with the funding shortfall and the racial makeup at that level, with a large number of students being of the poorer classes and lower educated backgrounds and that a large number having to work over 30 hours a week to support themselves and siblings, and of the high dropout rate. The San Mateo two year college is noted for having the best student to teacher ratio and facility.   Click here to visit the college site.
