		25 at lunch today including four interclubers from Palo Alto.   The invited Speaker was supposed to be Brian Moura  Assistant City Manager, as noted in the last Kiwanis United, but he was suddenly sick and canceled.  Brian is on the wireless project that will bring free internet wireless throughout San Mateo County as well as Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and some over in the east bay. Greg Rubens talked in his place being part of the process. Greg will try to get Brian back in the future.  The system will have two tiers, one for free with advertising to pay for it, and the second will be fee based without advertising.  While you may have heard of other areas doing this it is the largest area of coverage planned of any system. Plans have been made and companies chosen. Two cities  San Carlos and Palo Alto were chosen to start the beginning phase and serve as the pilot for the overall project.
